Assam Sahitya Mahotsav

 

JORHAT, GUWAHATI, Feb 9: The Assam Prakashan Parishad will organize the Assam Sahitya Mahotsav from May 1 to May 12 at the Khanapara Veterinary field in Guwahati.

Litterateurs of interntional repute will be taking part at the Assam Sahitya Mahotsav. Five awards will be given away during this literary fest and 10 fellowships will be announced. The research papers of those who will receive the fellowships will be published as books. The Assam Prakashan Parishad had in the past brought out two magazines - Mukuta and Prakash. These magazines were discontinued after some years. At a meeting of the Assam Prakashan Parishad held today, a decision was taken to re-launch these two magazines.
